Here's a hunch as to why most newbie/veteran members leave/think about leaving FP.

1. They go onto the IRC seeing that FORUM STAFF are acting immature on it, and the forum staff member probably pissed off the member.
2. The IRC isn't as friendly as it came out to be
3. Useless arguments over the internet over video games, anime, manga, and other things are a turn off on here and on the IRC. This even includes images of certain characters from video game series.
4. The admins do nothing about the way their staff act on these said places.

Buuuutt... that's just me, and probably only me.

Let's keep the conversation focused on the OP (in this case, Mysteryxman14.) If anyone has legitimate concerns about the site, please take them to Problems and Suggestions, or else contact a moderator directly. Be specific with your complaints and have examples ready to show. We'll do our best to get them sorted out.

But not here.

Getting back to the thread, I'll admit that I'm not fond of farewell posts, particularly in the Introductory section. They have always seemed like something you would rather share on a blog. That way, the people who care most about you, your friends, can keep it intimate and personal. But that is just a personal opinion, and there is some precedence about posting your goodbyes here.

For whatever reason you are leaving, and in whatever capacity you might return to us, I wish you all the best Mysteryxman14. Good luck out there finding whatever it is you are looking for. The site will still be here should you ever change your mind, as will your account, as the Baron has already mentioned.

Staff do nothing about these problems.. They assume because it is an 'adult themed forum' that there will not be any issues like this

Until either forum staff act mature on the IRC network, OR the admins do something about this. I will continue to rant until something gets done.
It is not just staff who act immature, it is also users who start argument wars, flame wars, and various other methods to make people feel this way about FP.

I will also be saving any more immature/rude IRC chat logs and will be sending them to every admin on the admin team page.

I am not the only user who feels this way about the IRC network, there are others who can vouch for me.
