Hi and welcome.

Tough industry, I hear.

When it's good, it's great but the peaks and valleys would be way too much for me.

I'm in the video game industry (but am currently unemployed like a loser) and it seems to be the same in many ways and am thinking of getting into something else but I don't know what direction to go into.

Anyway, enough yakking. Welcome!
