Lucky for you guys or something I'm not one to be put off by a little Japanese lesson or something like that. I know my fair way around and it being within a topic I do nerd a bit about I do think I can hold my ground...
And writing Dojo instead of Doujou was just his way of getting into it.. Dojo is the common western way, just like we write computer and they write Konpyūta.
Though there is some things in the Kanji used, that also have a meaning...

But yeah, maybe we should be less japanese classes on people first time they come in.
