I suppose it is about time I introduced myself, given of course that I joined back in October...
I am a software engineer (Linux and Windows) from Colorado. Like many enginerds I can be a self righteous bastard, even when I'm wrong. I ask but for your tolerance and occasionally your good graces.
On a side note I tag threads randomly (the tags aren't random, just which thread I tag) if you dislike the tags, then tag your thread first.

Thanks! My degree is CS but realistically I'm a systems guy so if I'm a computer scientist (in the traditional mathematical sense) I'm a really bad one. I long ago came to the conclusion that I understood the system, and the dynamics of it better than the algorithms and numerics.
