Glad to be here! Wow, thank you for all the replies and greetings! That's a good sign for this community.
Oh, yes... I do know about the engineer. I did like his portrayal in Barker's "Hellbound Heart" book rather than the Hellraiser film, but Barker directed the first film too, so I can't complain.

I have to agree-- Barker's description in the novella was infinetely more appealing and visceral then the movie.
