Futanari Story Reading Project

Hello out there in the Palace. I think I've figured out a way to 'give back to the community' so to speak. I'm going to be recording myself reading some of my favorite futanari (and otherwise) stories. I'm using a Karaoke Revolution microphone (thank you, USB!) and doing some post-recording editing with GoldWave (1000 more actions and I'll have to pay $45, :((). I have some samples of my voice reading the first chapter or so of Wizard's First Rule (we're talking about 30 MB MP3 files here), and I can upload them to <file sharing website of your choice> if there's enough interest. I've also talked informally with Palace Staff about hosting some of the files here, but that's in the preliminary stages of negotiation at this time.

Now my working pace is about seven pages of text per day, and I would like to start with Jokermon's Fixing The Sink, so I'm probably not going to be able to do requests. But if any of you authors are interested in hearing your stories read aloud, I'd love to give them a try.

I'd also like to let the authors know that I'm not going to release anything until I've got their 100% approval. Which means I need to get the finished files to them privately.

And in other news, it's apparent from the sample that I'm going to suck at the female voices. Especially when things get... heated up. If there's a female user out there who would be willing to lend her voice to this project, drop me a PM and we'll coordinate. (I have to figure out how to insert it into GoldWave first though... Experiments will occur over the weekend if I'm lucky.)

On the technical side, if anyone out there has any sort of recording experience (I have a friend who's getting a job as a professional studio recorder, but I think I'd die of embarrassment before I'd ask his help with this sort of thing), some pointers on noise removal, EQ, voice acting, etc. would be greatly appreciated, of course.

Hey, who knows, maybe there's a Foley artist out there who'd be willing to create some, ahem, explicit sound effects for the background. Doesn't hurt to ask!
