Big Dick Problems

Story by DarinSatre

Hello again. Once again I wrote something, yet another attempt at trying to write a story with a hook that keeps me interested, since apparently normal stories with normal payoffs are just impossible for me lately.

Anyway, please enjoy the story of college student Victoria and her paper on the problems of having a big dick, inspired by some stories I read that got stuck in my brain, as they do.

Professor Alvin Williams stood in front of the lecture hall, clearing his throat. As usual for the beginning of the fall term, all the new students were more interested in chatting with each other and making friends and adjusting to this new phase of their lives than they were in listening to a lecture, which was entirely understandable. Unfortunately, that didn’t change the fact that he still actually had to teach the course.

It was his first full-time teaching position, after all, and he certainly didn’t want to mess it up. After getting his master’s degree in psychology, he’d tried to open a practice of his own and treat patients. In the end, though, he found that that wasn’t really his passion. It had been an expensive lesson to learn, but he realized he enjoyed his time as a TA and working at the college more than he was enjoying working with patients. So he decided to go back for his PhD and make a career out of educating the future psychiatrists of the world.

And so here he was, not that much older than the new students he was teaching, feeling simultaneously out of his depth and more prepared than ever. A feeling he imagined was shared by basically everyone in the crowd, which actually helped to calm him down some.

He cleared his throat a second time, with no better results. His third attempt involved an air horn sound from his laptop, which finally seemed to get everyone to look his direction.

“Great. Now that I have everyone’s attention, let’s get started. Welcome to Psych 101. I’m sure some of you are here just to get one of your electives out of the way, and I wish you all the best. I’ve been there, we all have classes we’re just trying to get through. But just to be clear, I’m not going to just give you your passing grade, you will still have to write some papers. Sorry in advance.”

A mixture of awkward chuckles and groans passed through the class as he continued. “We’ll be working through the textbook of course, I’m not going to make you buy it and then not use it. But an important thing to remember is psychology isn’t just about memorizing textbooks and reciting mental illnesses. It’s about helping people be honest with themselves and learning what’s bothering them. In many cases you can do that just from talking to them, and importantly, from being honest yourself.”

He pulled down the projector screen, broadcasting his laptop so the class could see it. “So before we worry about the book and what it has to say, I have an assignment for everyone. Working on that honesty can be the most difficult part of the entire process, and the best way to train that is just like any other skill. Practice. So I want you to start by giving me a short paper on one of the biggest challenges in your life and how you deal with it. Doesn’t need to be long, just a few pages. I’m not going to insist you tell me your deepest darkest secrets or something, and obviously I have no way of knowing, but I do think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what’s going on in your life, and try to take the prompt seriously.”

He looked up, gauging the reactions in the room. As he expected, many people didn’t seem thrilled with the idea, but that was what he expected. “I know this isn’t an easy thing to ask. A lot of things are private for a reason. But it’s important to learn to be open about yourself, as I said, and the more deep you’re willing to dig for something, the better this exercise will be. Any questions?”

After the obligatory questions about due date and paper length, he moved on to the beginning of the class proper.
