Looking for old sci-fi transformation story

Reposting this in the proper place where hopefully someone may remember what I'm talking about! 

 I'm looking for a story I remember reading on the old F3 forum— before its untimely death—many many years ago. Unfortunately I don't remember a ton of details, but I figured this might be the only place on the internet where someone might recognize what I'm talking about.

The basic gist of the story was a coming-of-age science fiction tale in which girls received a penis through surgery at a certain age. I remember this implanted penis was called an "anchor" in the story. I also distinctly remember the main character referring to herself as "zaftig." This is, unfortunately, all I really remember. 

Does anyone else know what this story is, or who might have written it? Alternatively is there an archive of the old F3 forum somewhere? I've tried the Internet Archive, but every link is broken and the archive isn't searchable, so it really isn't useful. Thanks so much in advance.
