How do you plot out chapters and sex scenes?

The method I've come up with for myself is after I have the basic story idea and concept down I decide on the general direction and story arc I want to take it in, and then I list all the sex acts I might want to write with the characters, and finally I try and place the sex scenes in the chapter order I think makes most sense. Of course my plans might change as I write, the story going in a way that suggests new scenes and the like. I was wondering how other people figure out their chapter and sex scene layout. Do you go in knowing where you want to put in the sex and what kind of sex you want, or do you wing it and develop it as it goes? Or do you do something else?
