Fate Comes to Call

Story by Kaizer Ryu

I've had variations of this floating around in my head for a while now. I'm not sure how long it will be, but there will be more to this story in the days ahead. It grew from an RP I had, then gained elements of another story series I've had ideas for but haven't yet put to light. There isn't any futa or impregnation yet, but there will be.

The door creaked open slightly as Mina knocked, the middle aged wolf sitting at his desk becoming visible. “Ah, there you are, Mina. Come in, come in.” The large male pushed aside a few things on his desk, watching the vixen gulp as she stepped into his office and closed the door behind her. She wasn't the most efficient secretary he'd ever had, but she had many qualities he rather enjoyed. Even through the frumpy second-hand dress she wore, her curves stood out. Short, stacked, and obedient. Just how he liked them.

Standing in front of his desk, clutching a folder against her chest, he could see her twitching. The poor girl was just a ball of nerves, but he knew what she liked. “Y-you called me, s-sir?” Ah, the stutter. Yet another mark in the cute column.

Folding his paws together and resting his chin against them, the wolf gave her a stern look. He held his smile as she cringed a little, savoring the moment for a few seconds. “As you know, the firm is going through some hard times with the economy as it is right now. We've already had to let a few people go.” Watching her eyes widen in fear, the wolf sighed and leaned back. “I'm afraid we'll have to scale back your hours for a time. I really should let you go, but you bring so much to the firm it would be a greater loss than I'm willing to take.”

A lump grew in Mina's throat. She was already barely making ends meet, every month a struggle to make rent while still being able to eat. The chances of finding a second job that could stand her quirks was slim to none. She HAD to say something, no matter how much she didn't want to. “M-Mr. Volgar...” The words caught in her throat when he looked her in the eyes, her gaze falling as she struggled to push them out. “N-not to seem u-ung-greatful, but u-um...I c-can't...live on any l-less. I'm already s-struggling to m-meet rent as it i-is...”

With the vixen looking away, the wolf allowed himself a grin for half a second. “I have very few options, Mina. I can't guarantee pay that might not be there if business doesn't pick up soon. Do you have any ideas? I would hate to see my favorite secretary tossed out in the cold.”

Mina mostly knew where this was going. Something about her just seemed to attract or create situations like this. Every job she'd held had ended up with her boss and coworkers sexually harassing her, though so far she'd managed to get away before it escalated too far. But with the way things were now she was fairly trapped. But maybe it would turn out differently this time? “M-maybe I could...help d-drum up business...g-get a c
