Personally, I think there should be a separate section for poetry, but I'll deal for now. I'm a writer, of fiction and poetry, and so I'm posting my poems on this thread. Feel free to comment on them or whatever. Here's the first and the latest poem that I've written at this time.

As My Heart Breaks

When I first met her,

I was cold indeed,

My heart had been broken,

But my pushes she would not heed,

She mended my broken heart,

With glue and bits of twine,

And when she was done she told me,

That she'd be forever mine,

Yet as time passed, and my love grew,

The distance between us did call,

And it's because we were far apart,

That caused our love to fall,

I promised her my love,

And she promised her to mine,

But three years past, and three states away,

And I just ran out of time,

So the woman who fixed my heart,

And whom I saved her life,

Cast me aside, the wait was too long,

And my love hurt like a knife,

So as my heart breaks anew,

The thought goes through my mind,

Who will fix the break this time,

And what will they come to find?
