I couldn't sleep. I'm restless. I~ have to write. I haven't written in so long, so... I apologize if it's lacking a bit in polish. I~ wish it was that simple. I've felt, so empty for so long that I haven't been able to feel my words. If there is a lack of it here, then~ I apologize... there is love behind this. As well as a bit of passion~...

They were humanoid, and yet very feminine despite their shape. She tried to speak, but the sensation within her of grief and nostalgia were beginning to take hold. She felt if she said a single word, she would break into tears. The emotion was so strong, she couldn't bear it any longer. She wanted to go home, and yet home seemed so far away, so out of her reach and she knew she would most likely never see it again.

“Calm...”

How could she be happy in a world like this? Where features made way for feelings, for sensation... where her thoughts were more real than anything she could remember anything ever being. The beings around her, seemed to understand her fears, her regrets, the absolute emptiness that threatened to consume her.
