I dunno. . .I just wrote this short piece on a boring day.

I hope you guys will find it tasteful.:)

I apologize if I used the "quote" option on this piece. Attaching it was pretty big.:(

this story is called, "Friends Forever" by me.:D

Yuri waits by the bus stop.

“We’re going to be late, Aya.” she said to her friend as she sees the bus coming.

“I’m coming, Yuri!” Aya said as she fixes her mini-skirt, “Wait!”

She catches up to Yuri as the both of them get into the bus for school.

“You owe me one, Aya” said Yuri as they laugh and find a seat together in the bus.

They have always been together since kindergarten. Aya was always the conservative one; she always thinks rationally and finds it hard to wear mini-skirts or any revealing outfits for a 16-year old. She has long dark hair and has hazel eyes—a bit pale looking skin. She likes to wear plain sundresses when she and Yuri go out.

“I always hate wearing these things,” She said to Yuri.

“Really, Aya? I never find them distasteful. . .” she replied to Aya.

Yuri is different compared to Aya. She’s the free-spirited, independent 16-year old girl who’s never really afraid to explore. She is a brown-haired girl with streaks of blonde highlights and dark eyes—a fair-skinned girl. She always knew Aya was weak since they were kids thus she ends up protecting her all the time. If Aya was ever hurt in any way, they would answer to Yuri.

But this time was different—Yuri was deep in thought as she stares at the bus window. Aya couldn’t help but notice; she wanted to ask her why but she’d thought it would just distract her.

“We’re here. Yuri, are you okay?” she asked Yuri. She was still staring out the window.

“Huh?! Wha-. . .oh, yeah. I’m sorry, I was just—nevermind. Let’s go, Aya.” She responds to Aya.

Aya felt concerned. What was bothering her? She said to herself.

At class, Aya just watched her friend so depressed—Yuri’s expression was all blank. Lifeless. She is getting serious. I have to ask her why. Aya plans to talk to her after class. She has to find out what is bothering her bestfriend.

As school ends, Aya approach Yuri in a comical fashion. She was making stupid faces to Yuri—trying to cheer her up. Ppfffttt, bblleeeehhh!!!

“What are you doing, Aya?” She asks her.

“Trying to make you laugh!” She replies back.

Yuri smiles a bit, “thanks, Aya. That’s nice of you. . .”

“Aw, come ’on! That was my best face. . .—what’s bothering you, Yuri? You’ve been dead the whole time. This isn’t like you.” Aya looks more concern now.

“I-I can’t. . .”

“Tell me, Yuri. I’ll help you with whatever. . .just tell me” Aya reaches for her hand. Holds it tight and looks her in the eye, “friends forever, right?”

Yuri looks at her friend, “Aya, I-I. . .” looks her in those caring eyes and she could not help but hug Aya tight and say, “thank you, Aya.”

“Tell me. . .please, Yuri”

“Okay. Let’s go, Aya. . .”

They walk together, hand-and-hand to Yuri’s house. Yuri’s parents are never always home. Her dad works overseas as a stock-broker and her mother was a cellist for a philharmonic orchestra. The only one guarding the house are Yuri’s two huge rotweilers: Spike and Killer. Aya called her mom
