Legend of the Cursed Temple (teaser only)

Story by lil_futa_Kimberly

Here is a small teaser of the story I have been working on. It introduces three of the five planned characters and is only a small teaser. Let me know what you think.

A time of change, a era of uncertainty. The world had seen many new things over the past few years. Magic had been a commonplace once only a few generations ago. Many still practice its ancient mysteries, but today, more are taught in the ways of technology. The world had been on the brink of civil war. Two nations, Aliran, the Land of the Magi, to the north and it's sister nation, Ransteel the Land of Discovery to the south.

Aliran sticks to the old ways of magic and sorcery, seeing the abuse of magic to power ghastly machines it's seen as beyond blasphemy to them.

Ransteel has always been a progressive nation, one of scholars and scientists, always looking for the best way to improve life and make things easier.

While things on the mainland of Valkire play out, a small group of adventurers are about to meet on a small island known as Noah's Landing. Here, the legend of a desecrated holy temple, the very first temple of the Moon Goddess Lysandra, has brought them, each seeking their own goals, but it is their goals that will bring them together. Soon, the greatest adventure of their lives will take place.

The sound of the waves crashing onto the shore was enough to make Kimberly feel slightly sleepy. She closes her eyes and allows the sea breeze to blow through her hair. She smiles and brushes a strand of hair from her face. Her peace is soon broken however by the sound of scampering footprints heading her way.

“Mistress-sama!” a high pitched voice crys out as Kitayanna wraps her arms around Kimberly. “Nya~ Mistress-sama wasn't in bed when Kitty woke up. Kitty was lonely,” she sniffs and nuzzles her face in Kimberly's cleavage.

“Aww, my poor little Kitten. Don't worry, I'm never very far away,” Kimberly reassures her as she runs her hand across Kitayanna's head, scratching her behind her ears.

“Nya~” Kitayanna purrs and continues nuzzling Kimberly's breasts. “Kitty never leaves Mistress-sama! Never evers!”

Sailors from around the boat watch the two, some staring, wondering where this little show of affection is going to lead. It doesn't take long before land comes into view over the horizon. The gawking sailors soon begin rushing about the boat. “Land ho!” yells the sailor from the crow's nest. Kitayanna quickly rushes to the side of the ship as her tail shoots straight into the air, showing off her tight lacy red panties under her dress. Kimberly steps behind her, blocking the sailors' view of her kitten's undergarments. Her tail swishes from side to side as her excitement grows.

“Treasure?” Kitayanna asks simply, looking back at Kimberly.

Kimberly nods with a sigh, “Yes, there's going to be treasure, but that's not why we're here. We're here to break the curse.”

Kitayanna is still to distracted by the ideas of the treasure she might find for her to focus on anything other than that.

The port is abuzz with sailors unloading the ships and merchants setting up small booths, selling goods fresh off the ships. A young woman steps off a small merchant vessel. She is clothed in the white and blue robes of the clergy of Lysandra. Her long dark blue hair blows in the ocean breeze. She steps off the gangplank and pulls out a small piece of paper.

“Let's see...” she speaks aloud to herself as she reads the note. “Head to the island of Noah's Landing and investigate the reports of the lost temple on the full moon.” She nods to herself and slowly begins walking down the dock, still looking at the note. She stops abruptly as she walks straight into a sailor on the dock, the impact causing him to spill his drink on himself. “Oh, I'm terribly sorry!” she gasps and bows lightly before him.

“Sorry ain't gonna clean my shirt or get me a new drink,” he barks at her. He leans down at her and raises a brow. “I think you owe me something for this!” Two other sailors with him smile and nod to each other.

“I'd be willing to buy you a new drink,” she says naively, “and I'm sure there's a tailor around here to get you a new shirt.”

The three men laugh loudly at the girl. Just how naive was this girl? The soggy sailor places his hand on her shoulder and nods. “Right, that sounds fine,” he says as he looks at the other two with a smile. “Here, let us show you the way.”
